It's fine to complain sometimes. It's perfectly normal to have issues with things that you like or love, and to want to discuss those issues. Some people act like if you enjoy a piece of media you should never say anything negative about it. That's dumb.

Now if what you say is true and ALL you see is hate, then I say you're looking in the wrong place or need different friends.

But from past experience I know sometimes you don't truly want to quit on something even if isn't the same thing you used to love. Sometimes you hope that it might get better and you'll be around to see it. In those cases it's probably best not to be involved in the fandom side of things too much, but people will express their opinions, both positive and negative, and that's never going to change.
