Superfamily baffles me for a lot of reasons, but unlike a lot of other unexpected fandom things (like the popularity of Clint/Coulson) I've never seen an explanation about its appeal from people who actually like it.

It's such an odd concept, I kind of wish someone who likes it would write some long-winded defense of it just so I could understand where all the fic/art/gif sets come from.

i'd like to see this as well. not just because meta about why people love the things they love is one of my favorite things in fandom, but also because i'm now genuinely curious about why wade and not johnny storm is the more accepted option for spiderbf.
