And? No, really, you are a random anon on the Internet. Who, in their right mind, would care that you judge them? Why do people make these "I judge you for..." secrets? I know that for the secret makers this is a way to soothe their anger, but why not say "people like this make me angry, etc." instead of saying you judge them? It sounds so pretentious, like the opinion of the OP really does matter, while in reality... it does not.

Back to the topic.

Most manga is shit. As an anon mentioned it above, they are worth to read, but not worth to buy. If I spend €8.96 on a single book and I'm dissatisfied with it, who cares, spending €8.96 once in a blue moon and be dissatisfied with the product/service is one thing. Spending 15 X €7.20 on a manga series only to discover that the later volumes are utter shit (why hi there, Bleach, Naruto, Ouran, etc.) is a heavy burden on my limited wallet (especially since I'm not even in an Euro country, so depending when I order those books, it is very likely that I have to pay more for the books than those who live in the UK/US).

But even if I had the money to buy all the manga I have ever read, I still wouldn't do it. Because most manga are shit, and I was taught only to spend money on things I really deem worthy to buy. I don't justify my manga reading habits by saying that they are too expensive for me to afford them, I don't pay for them because while they may worth my time, they don't worth my money (with exceptions, but most of those exceptions are either discontinued by the US companies, or are OOP, or aren't licenced). Now, if we were talking about anime, then yes, there are certain shows I'd love to buy (the upcoming Macross: Do Yor Remember Love BR, Natsume Yuujincou US DVDs, the Fate/Zero BRs, Baccano! US BR) but I either don't have the money to afford them, or cannot justify paying than amount of money for such low number of episodes.
