Thanks to piracy I found FMA and I'm buying its volumes overseas.
Believe me, it IS expensive, even for someone who can afford it. FMA is made from 27 volumes and I'm spending SO MUCH to gain them.Not everyone is like me.
Without piracy I wouldn't have known this series nor buy its volumes so who is the winner here?
The director of Naruto came to a con last year. It was full of people and he was surprised. If there was no piracy NO ONE, not exaggrating, NO ONE in Turkey would have known Naruto.
Same goes for DVDs. In US yes, it's pretty much affordable but in Turkey they're in between 50-100 TL, equals approximately 100-200 $ in value (value I said, not exactly equals this). You have to be an idiot to buy original copy.
Because of your hipster values, I'm not going to give up on my happy times.
