I noticed when I was in the book store the other day... while they have more shelves of Manga than comics books they had fewer choices. Like literally shelves of Naruto, Bleach, Sailor Moon, and DragonBall. It annoys me that they are making the new Sailor Moon thing so that will get popular again and take up space of new things. Not that I didn't like it when I was younger as well just the more easy sell books they have the less space for shit I might actually want to read at this point. Back when I stopped reading manga I remember it being on tons of shelves of different content and it was annoying because comics were squeezed down into one shelf. Now that I want it... BORING.

I do read a single manga through scans but that's because they stopped making it in English. The Japanese publishers made their own English division and took the rights back from a US publisher. So it's half-done and that's fucking frustrating as hell. If I could read Japanese I'd buy it off the web.

People are arguing that scanning isn't stealing but it is having people pirate that might buy and whittling away the amount of books we get. Both in manga and American comics.

Also finding it funny that people are complaining about "spending $10 on something that takes 20 minutes to read." I know I'm not the only person that rereads books or bookmarks pages they want to look at/reference/love forever again right? Is that just an artist thing?
