I'm not an SJW at all, but I still can't stand this show.

Agreed with everyone on the secondhand embarrassment. I also really, really dislike shows that TALK TO THE CAMERA. Where is my fourth wall!?

Its meant to be a documentary 'in universe'. The characters are aware of the cameras within the context of the show. You're meant to just roll with it.

I don't get why everyone's bashing it on here, IMO it was WAY funnier than other sitcoms like Big Bang Theory

Big bang theory was just all-around unfunny to me. I guess I just don't see the appeal. :/

Big Bang Theory and How I Met Your Mother are pure awful.

I agree. The show's funny, is actually pretty interesting to think about critically (I journaled about it in my television class), and is in general pretty good.

There's a difference between bashing and acknowledging that certain styles of humor are not for everyone. If you like it, good for you, but what I've seen of it literally made me want to cry from the secondhand humiliation, so yeah. No.

I'm "bashing" it because I do not like it, I do not find the humor funny, and I'm allowed to express my opinion. I dislike Modern Family for the same fourth-walling. That, and I am so tired of seeing Sofia Vergara EVERYWHERE IN THE WORLD.

FYI, I don't like Big Bang Theory, either.
