Why not? Who really cares if it was a video game that got you started? If you decided to give up everything in your life, buy a farm, move out there to start your life as a farmer and then half-ass everything because "I didn't think farming was actually going to be hard work!" that's one thing, but other than that, is it really going to be such a big deal?

I don't see it as being necessary to tell anyone, but I really fail to see this as being someone's "deep, dark secret that they can never tell ANYONE."

More a deep foolish secret that I generally will not admit to anyone I know IRL

But I am doing well. Farming is rewarding work.
