(Anonymous) 2012-07-18 02:03 am (UTC)(link)I also never really thought of it as gay because I knew in real life when the movie came out these two guys who were BEST FRIENDS. Like, for serious, super close friends with never a sexy thought in sight. And these two guys looked almost exactly the same as the characters. So I always just connected Miguel and Tulio to those two guys, and didn't think about it as being gay.
(Not that I care one way or another, I just adore that movie.)
