Back when I was plotting Gundam Wing fanfiction as a wee teenager, I decided Duo Maxwell would lead a rock band in his free time, and that band would be called "Dark Manifest" for no reason other than I thought it sounded cool. Long after I abandoned the idea, I still liked the name, and it's rarely taken. So "sounds cool" is my main requirement for naming stuff. If it might help, The Phrontistery is a site full of cool and uncommon words and their meanings.
