Ahaha, that IS true. I just think they would have a fun dynamic; they could bond over being confused by technology and the ways of the modern world. What Steve already knows he could mentor Thor in (he would feel so pleased with himself, lmao, hence the monkey joke). Also they both have that sweet, good-natured thing going for them (much of the time, anyway)...they would be such an adorable, sappy pairing.

I think that makes a lot of sense! Plus they're both enhanced soldiers the way the others aren't, who have to be very careful not to overdo things, and they have a more traditional sense of honor than the rest of the team. Their origin stories hinged heavily on brotherhood. And yeah, all that sweetness, they are just so formal and sincere sometimes. They'd help protect each other from being trolled by everyone else. Oh, oh, and they could train together! There's really nobody else who they could practice pounding on without worrying about squishing a normal human, smashing expensive equipment, or getting killed by a green rage monster.

All of what you say is truth but that line stands out so much. You said it way better than I could! I always thought they would be best evenly matched to spar together and that they both are very strong hearted and heavily moral people who grew up feeling kinship with others in battle, and that because of that (and other reasons too) they would probably hit it off pretty fast. The troll thing is a very good (and amusing) reason too.

lmao, me and my friend got to randomly rp'ing them doing laundry together and Steve teaching Thor about facebook after Tony taught him and idk idk, it just makes sense to me. Thor would take so many pictures of himself and his new boyfriend and gallantly praise him for the whole internet to see.

I love the idea of them devoted their big strong hearts to each other. Even just as a friendship it would be a powerful matchup, but as a romance it would be obnoxiously delightful.

Haha, that is perfect, Thor would probably have no brain-to-public filter when it comes to gallantly praising Steve. The whole world would end up knowing about his prowess in everything. "My brother-in-arms can hold his own in any drinking match! He is most formidable on the battlefield! He is unmatched in the art of love and bedplay!" Most awkward Facebook updates.

Me too! I love both those friendships but we've been there. As fun as they are, bring on the Cap/Thor! Big blond heroes is perfect btw. They should use that.
