(Anonymous) 2012-07-18 07:29 pm (UTC)(link)iirc there was a mention of their skin tone or something in the book that made me very sure they were Asian or at least very much not white. I remember because my SO and I were miffed that they were putting them in the "Asian people are good at technology" stereotype mold. I'd have to reread it to find quotes though.
