Word. The Fall is one of the most amazing movies and made me love him even more (I actually originally only watched it because he was in it and I adored Pushing Daisies).

Be sure to check him out in Soldier's Girl, he's amazing in it. I think he was either nominated or won awards for it. He plays a M to F transgendered person who falls for a guy in the military. It's a heartbreaking true story.

People have told me that before but I'm such a wimp when it comes to tragic stories. The world kind of sucks and I hate watching movies that reinforces that suckage. Eventually I'll have to check it out, because I've heard a lot of recs for it.

Well, without giving too much away... If it makes you feel any better, there was so much public outrage over what happened and the way it was handled that the military implemented new protocols. And, several people involved now work as activists and are still friends despite the circumstances under which they met.
