General comments:

Is it possible to install bug-patches for Dragon Age II on the 360 without having Xbox Live? I reeeally want to be able to finish my pro-Templar run without having to kill Anders (who I've romanced), but that's impossible without the fix.

I think Xbox Live accounts can be tried for free, but I'd still need to buy some hardware stuff, right? And I just can't afford that right now. Perhaps I can download the patches, burn them to a CD, and pop that into my Xbox to install them? ...No good?

I totally understand this. I've had some role plays that went really well and was going on for a while but eventually had to be discontinued (or in some cases the other person stopped replying) for one reason or another. I still think about some of them every now and then.

At a certain point I set it aside and never went back to it. (IIRC it was scaring my kid, but I was also reading it for myself, so that's no excuse.)

but...why? Lady Loki would have been just as whiny as Dude Loki. The only difference is that there would probably be more Loki bashing in fandom (sure, there would probably be a few other people who prefer Loki portrayed by a woman in the movie, but a lot more people would have disliked the character even if they were the exact same aside from the gender change)

What's wrong with the fandom as it is, today? It might not be as active as it once was -- but it's far from dead! Then again, if you don't really care for the series itself... I guess I could see why you wouldn't be interested in joining the current fandom either. Still fail to see how a remake would fix things for you, but maybe I'm just being bias (I love UNCLE and hate remakes).

Personally I think the explanation for BD's break away from Bella was SM's huge lady boner for Jacob, though. Jesus, what a waste of pages that middle part was. The only interesting shit going on was with Bella and we had to spend time running around with boring fucking pissy little Jake.
