I don't have really good advice since you're a PC player and I just have the 360 and PS3 versions, but ....I want to say that it's worth it. I'm also heavily biased. :P Even if you don't like it in the end, at least give it a fair shot. Anything you hear about the ME3 endings be damned, the series is that good. =P

Besides being a ridiculously huge ME fan, I also think it's great that you're trying a game that's different for you. That's when I have the most fun with video games :)
