Oh man I never even thought of that. I started watching the show in the middle of season 5, and marathoned the first four seasons so I could understand what was going on better, so Hendrickson passed by without me having a lot of time to ponder the possibilities. But that would have been awesome. Them living off credit card scams and hustling pool while constantly filling an old car with gas and buying medical supplies and new clothes shouldn't be getting them as far as they've been able to go.

Yeah, that style of living only held in the earliest seasons while they were normal hunters who, while the best in the field, otherwise weren't special and didn't get in very much trouble. By the time they were in the center of the apocalypse itself, causing uproars that put them on FBI watchlists, the boys needed a lot more organization and connections to stay active.
