I had a really hard time getting used to it at first, but it does get better! I replayed the first mission a few times to get used to the targeting system and all that. Um, it wasn't until ME2 that I started caring about where my teammates were or what they did(lone wolf style), so it's possible to play without really worrying about them.

Argh, there IS a map or something, but I can't remember how to get it(though you may not even be playing on the same console as me). If I remember it correctly, it does show you where your destinations are with lil blinkers and such? Man, just follow the tutorial the above person linked too, sorry. X(

haha it's fine. And it's good to know that if my squad disappears it won't really affect the mission or plot. (They just...show up on base again later?)

Some people above helped out with the map and a beacon so, that will be awesome! I abuse maps - I'm a really visual person, I use them a lot in Zelda games and such, it really helps keep me oriented.

(I'm playing on PC, I downloaded the game from Steam)
