I assume from the previous response to someone, you're thinking I go around with a boob window all the time. Rest assured I don't. However, as I said it doesn't matter WHAT I wear, everyone will be looking at my boobs.

My point being that it shouldn't be an absurd hope that someone might not stare at my boobs. I shouldn't have to wear three shirts just to cover up my cleavage that I have zero control over, because THINK OF THE CHILDREN as well as PEOPLE ARE PERVERTED. I should be able to walk around wearing whatever the hell I want without the threat of being eye-molested, or worse.

It's sad and pathetic that I do have to hope against hope that even with a tank top, camisole, and top shirt, people won't stare at me for having female mammary glands.

That said, to a certain extent, men are literally hardwired to pay attention to certain anatomical parts on a woman. those parts in particular first for feeding, then when puberty hits they are incredibly interesting all over again. This isn't some "mansplain" or whatever thing where I'm trying to justify some jackass' inappropriate behavior, which I'm sure has happened to you. But the fact of the matter is that guys are more or less designed to look at those.

We're hardwired to do a lot of things we know better to do in public nowadays. I get the urge to stare and honestly I do sometimes but like for a second on the sly and I definitely don't take cleavage as justification for my behavior.

Do you think men societies where women spend large portions of their time topless stare at women like this man does in this comic? I doubt it (otherwise they would never get anything done).

+1, this is true. In several parts of Africa women walk around topless all day and nobody gives a shit. It's not in their culture to sexualize breasts.

You seem to be conflating "look" with "stare" (which I notice a lot of people in this thread are doing). No one expects heterosexual men to valiantly pretend boobs aren't even there, but an appreciative glance on one's way to the rest of the package is miles away from forgetting the woman attached to the boobs actually has a face. (Especially when she just saved your life).
