You should NOT feel ashamed for not mourning in the same way as others, or in the way people expect you to. You're not a horrible person or a horrible daughter. And they should not be making you feel guilty for not crying.
And if you don't feel like grieving, that's okay.
(It's funny that way... when a close family friend died, I felt nothing, yet when my high school teacher who I didn't know that well died, I couldn't stop bawling at her funeral.)
