Dude, I love Italian music! It's the only time I can stand the Italian language nowadays, ever since my awful high school Italian teacher made me associate the language with getting yelled at incomprehensibly. 'xD It's to bad you didn't get to hear much while you were there. (Also I'm jealous.) In case you wanted more recs for Italian songs here are some of my favorites:

Aw, that sounds like a bad situation :( Glad you have some positive thoughts of Italian, though! I went to Italy on a class trip for Latin, actually, and while I heard some Italian music in restaurants and things modern Italian culture was definitely not the purpose of the trip, haha.

but while I have more than enough to try tonight, I'm always on the lookout for good music, so thank you so much!
