I don't have much intelligent to add, except to offer an example.

Metal Gear Solid 3, the protagonist Naked Snake is captured by the enemy dude Volgin, and tortured. During this torture, it's implied that Volgin's getting off on it. But yeah, still no rape. But there is some gratuitous male-on-male crotch-grabbing too. Also like to add that same dude Volgin tortures and rapes Eva/Tatyana, and it's treated as less of a big deal than the scene with Naked Snake. Sort of like, "oh there's explanation stuff going on here."

Okay back to my lane.

And then there's Metal Gear Solid 4, which has LOADS of male rape symbolism, from the main character being damaged when psychotic women feel him up, to a male villain grappling him from behind and kissing at his ears. It's done in order to show that the main character is being violated by the horrific war situations he's had to go through, and perhaps a little bit of titillation. Still no actual rape, though.
