So drop three of the most important (& well loved) characters and then change everything else about the series that made it unique? Uh...okay.

But I'm honestly curious, are you saying they should've kept the alchemy storyline but focused on the army instead? Ed and Al are so fundamental to the series I can't even imagine how that sort of story would work without them. It would be a completely different show. One that I probably would hold no interest in. But... *shrugs*
