(Anonymous) 2012-07-23 02:01 am (UTC)(link)I just love them so much because they made this huge mistake. They were arrogant and reckless and it cost them. (A lot of stories have protagonists who make mistakes but either don't suffer or learn from it.) And now they're doing the only thing they can do to move forward. I love that they'll search out the truth no matter what horrors it leads them to. I can feel the weight they carry on their shoulders. Plus Ed is just a total badass sometimes. I mean the kid gave up his arm to save his brother no reservations or regrets. How can I not love him?
