Yes.

I work inbound call centre for various emergency services such as plumbing and the like.

Sometimes I get huge dickheads who yell at me or abuse me because they got me at 2am and not the actual company, but I let it roll off my back. I'm getting paid to answer the phone, they're losing money for ringing me. I figure I win there. I've only had my feelings hurt twice, but I try to ignore that.

If you're curious I'm $18 hour, which is just above minimum wage. This is good for just supporting me, my pets and my friend who needs it.

The vet and dental calls are the worst.

Victoria, Australia. I always :( when I see people with a minimum wage of $7 and have to remember that local living costs affect things. It is the most I've ever made per hour before. My previous job was $15 an hour and I lost a lot of weight :/

My saving grace is few hobbies and no children/debt

Yeah, damn, that's more than I make now and I have a pretty cushy job in terms of pay. OTOH, the cost of living here is quite low, too.
