I find myself trying to find more polite tones for what I'm saying when I'm online when I'm not anon. Reason for that? I've seen enough users who ended up being harassed online/told to kill themselves, the whole deal that I always end up worrying about it when I disagree with a popular opinion with my real-journal.

It's just a risk I don't have in real life. I mean sure, yelling at each other etc. but I couldn't see someone sending me death threats because I disagree with their view about a character anywhere but on the internet.
