So, I have a summary for a fic I would love to read. I don't want to write it, because I don't think I could do it justice, so I'ma just toss it out here and if anyone wants to give it a go -- or point me to similar fics, I would be the happiest person here.

Summary:
Kevin is doing well as the new senior detective in the 12th. He's respected by his captain and his colleagues and has led takedowns big and small over the summer of 2012. He should be happy, but as days become weeks and weeks turn to months, his estrangement from Esposito, Beckett and Castle begin to take its toll.

Deppressed!Kevin. Esposito is still suspended and being a dick. Beckett wants to thank and reassure Kevin, but even though she's finally being open with Castle, she doesn't begin to know how to approach Kevin, who is avoiding the both of them.

The Castle!Kink community is pretty dead. Also, I'm not entirely comfortable going to a kink comm with nonkinky promopts.

I'm sorry about the former, but as to the latter, pretty much every kink comm I've known allows prompts of all kinds. There's typically a balance of non-smutty and smutty stuff, so don't let the misnomer fool you.

You should totally write this. Your summary alone is enough to convince me that you can write a passable fic, even if it's not the greatest fic ever. And let's be real, with a few noteworthy exceptions, in this fandom: passable is verging on perfection.

But I may be a little biased, because really, all I want is someone to make Kevin cry, and this looks like a good vessel for that.
