Re: is everyone an "idea" person or

Anyone can have a good idea, but not everyone has the tools or abilty to execute the idea successfully or competently. And, the thing about the internet is pretty much anyone can post anything they want and that thing can be seen or read by a lot of people. Other "idea" media, like movies, for example can't even get out of the creator's brain or off the script page without money, the right tools and a some luck, so you don't see "good idea, executed poorly" movies as often as you see "good idea, executed poorly" fic on the internet.

*I'm comparing amateurs writing on the Internet to amateur filmmakers making films on small budgets. We all know Hollywood films are often "good idea, executed poorly." (Or, good idea rehashed poorly :D.)
