(Anonymous) 2012-07-26 02:05 am (UTC)(link)And lets be honest, Snape was not attractive. He seemed to have terrible hygiene (might not have been so bad with GOOD hygiene, but really). A pretty, popular, intelligent, and vivacious girl like Lily would have MANY options--JKR said as much, lots of guys liked her. In canon she had no romantic interest in Snape, so if she were to go for anyone, even casually, I don't think Snape would be a top option for her. Not to mention it would be really fucking awkward because she probably knew he was interested in her romantically.
