I don't think it's nearly that clear.

Nick Fury is a former soldier and CIA operative who works for a massive military organization that prefers guns to negotiations, which I think is pretty damning evidence in favor of a Republican.

Natasha Romanova is a former KGB operative and now serves SHIELD. She could either be extremely left or somewhere in the right. Regardless, she prefers large, military organizations and was not against the Superhuman Registration Act, which are in keeping with Republicanism.

Tony Stark was also in favor of the Superhuman Registration Act and sold arms. Possible Republican, though he personally strikes me as a Democrat.

Steve Rogers would almost definitely not be a Republican in ideology (though the movie!verse Steve might be confused about politics and feel a pull towards conservatives simply because it's less overwhelming). He's interested in helping the oppressed, grew up in poverty, and joined the military during wartime, which is not a good indicator of Republicanism or conservative beliefs. He also abandoned his role as Captain America to become Nomad when he felt that the American government had become too corrupt. The only Republican values he has are extreme patriotism and using military might to fight destructive powers.

Clint Barton has lost a job before do to affirmative action, so he might harbor some resentment towards Democrats. However, he was also orphaned and sent to a children's home, so he might be interested in increasing awareness of and improving foster care and children's rights. Personally, I don't see him as interested in politics. He's had a rough life.

Bruce Banner has suffered enormously in his life and would likely be interested in mental health issues and ableism, which are neither right nor left.

Thor is not a Republican. He cannot be a Republican since he supports the Asgardian monarchy. That's right but not Republican. You can't get much farther from Republican ideals than a monarchist.

Okay, I need to say this one more time:

1. Movie!Tony is not comics!Tony, and movie!Tony would have a massive heart attack if someone even suggested that he should support letting the government control superheroes.

2. Tony STOPPED SELLING ARMS and was so appalled and horrified at himself for ever selling them that he shut down the entire weapons department of his company in disgust.

3. Civil War!Tony is the antithesis of everything Comics!Tony has ever stood for in all the decades he's existed, so saying that comics!Tony is a republican because he supports the SHRA is the equivalent of throwing ALL of Tony's decades of established characterization out the window in favor of some nonsensical contrived bullshit with absolutely no basis or rationale that Mark Millar cooked up in one single storyline for the sole purpose of creating drama.
