I'm not sure, but I think most of them wouldn't vote on party lines, and vote based on who they think is the better candidate. Especially Steve, actually.

I think Bruce might be more left wing, but you're probably right about the rest of them.

(Although I'm exculding Thor, because I feel Thor's opinions about how people should be governed wouldn't fit at all coherently on the earth politics left wing - right wing scale. Plus, given the literal meanings of the words, calling an actual monarch either democratic or republican is pretty inherently amusing.)

I think Steve would be a Republican until he found out about the discriminatory side of it because he doesn't seem like the sort of person who would align himself with people like that.

Coulson, Fury and Clint would be Democrats.

I don't think Natasha would care one way or the other.

Bruce is pretty sure either side would want to experiment on him.

Tony doesn't support anyone, because he knows damn well that both sides would want the suit.

I think Thor would be a dirty hippie, and Banner's a dyed-in-the-wool old-school democrat, but otherwise I could see it.

The whole superhero conceit is fundamentally very politically conservative, in general; cf. the new batflick and all.

You know, I kind of agree. At least, I'm pretty sure Cap would be. Tony might be the most moderate of moderates. I actually kind of like this idea. I'm pretty damned liberal, but I hate the way my peers villify all Republicans just as much as I hate the way Rush Limbaugh's peers villify all Democrats.

Believe it or not, there are people whose values overlap between the parties.

I can see it of Tony (hell, he donated his whole modern at collection to the Boy Scouts of America, and in the comics supported the Superhuman Registration Act) but I'm having a harder time seeing it for everyone else. Especially Natasha, who I can't picture supporting any political party.
