Also, I'd say since the Republican party has been bending over backwards to appeal to racists and bigots, and science Tony doesn't seem to be either of these things, I'd say he probably wouldn't vote Republican.

Basically, Civil War!Tony is the absolute polar opposite of every single thing pre-Civil War!Tony has ever stood for. Which I guess Mark Millar thought would be "cool" or "deep" or some bullshit.
