Tony before Afghanistan, probably. Tony after Afghanistan, probably not. This is a guy with so much money already that he can indulge any and every whim he has. Not all the super-wealthy are Republicans. Last I heard, Bill Gates was saying that the rich needed to be taxed more and he didn't mind paying his share. I could see Tony falling into that category.

TBH, Tony's the kind of person I can see giving to various campaigns -- some of them probably conflicting -- and forgetting or not even caring to vote.

You didn't mention Banner, but I have a hard time seeing a scientist like Bruce being in a political party that ignores, rejects, and suppresses scientific evidence on things like climate change and, oh, evolution.

Can you elaborate this? I watched Iron Man 2 again just the other week, and his reluctance to turn his technology over to the government made me think he must be libertarian, or at least suspicious of government.

Do. Not. EVER. Judge. Tony's. Personality. Based. On. Civil. War. EVER. You can judge his personality based on Civil War maybe by saying "Well, he did this in Civil War, therefore he'd do exactly the opposite in every other circumstance."
