agreed. I loved the first anime. i roll my eyes when people say Brotherhood was automatically superior JUST because it's closer to the manga. I haven't seen it, I'm not doubting it's good, but way too many people are just writing off the original anime entirely. and I love it so... boo :(

I've seen both series and read the manga; loved both the manga and the first series, but hated Brotherhood.

It has its issues. But even now, it still sucks me in and gets me invested in the characters and their stories.

I knoooow. It was the first anime I ever finished and it holds a very dear place in my heart. It makes me sad when people say it's bad basically because it's not Brotherhood.

I love the first anime so much. Brotherhood was such a disappointment and I hated Miki Shinichiro as Roy Mustang. I've been re-watching FMA recently and it is both better and worse than I remember. But, I still love it so much.
