agreed. I loved the first anime. i roll my eyes when people say Brotherhood was automatically superior JUST because it's closer to the manga. I haven't seen it, I'm not doubting it's good, but way too many people are just writing off the original anime entirely. and I love it so... boo :(

I've seen both series and read the manga; loved both the manga and the first series, but hated Brotherhood.
I roll my eyes ~so~ hard when people say Brotherhood was automatically superior JUST because it's closer to the manga. Nope. It was too poorly done!
