They fucking made each other and destroyed each other. Their love for each other elevated them and then their bitterness ate at them for years and years.

They're an incredibly, confused mess of love, passion, shared ideology and then the other side of the coin: hatred, anger, bitterness, disgrace, humiliation. They're a meeting of two minds, best friends, a married couple, an emotionally abusive relationship, meant for each other, destined and doomed to be together.

I'd be very surprised because they're kind of a ...niche interest, plus they're RPF (so really what I said about them is a mixture of real facts and fanon interpretations).

But we obviously share a taste, so if you'd like to share, I'm all ears.

Pete someone and I want to say...Carl something, from some band? I can't think of the name right now but my friend was kind of obsessed with them a few years ago and your description sounds really similar to things she would say about them.
