[ Anon Meme ]
Secrets, rants, opinions, anything you want to say about your fandom or a fandom or fandom in general, do it here! Anonymously, of course. Get it all off your chest.
Some ground rules:
1. Going anon is encouraged but not absolutely required (for those who struggle with captchas and stuff).
2. No autoplaying/autolooping embeds, or embeds that cover/stretch the screen.
3. No dropping personal info or IRL contact info, etc.
That's about it, though!
I'll be linking some general/general-fandom threads I see so people don't repost new threads with the same stuff.

(Anonymous) 2012-07-30 10:03 am (UTC)(link)Character B, who is actually the main character, is introduced later. He's closed off and has his own shares of secrets, like A. But he's in control of himself, rational-thinking, and adept in a lot of skills. He's lost people too, and since then has become a loner. He works for someone that basically is set on the conquest of several lands and other peoples. He uses others for his own goals and, in the beginning, doesn't care for anyone but himself, because he believes everyone, at least where he is, is inferior to him.
Both characters are part of two conflicting sides, their people having a long history of war with each other, and eventually discover for who the other person is. Character A is afraid, character B is filled with hatred for A and what he represents, (B's people have been oppressed by A's own and such.) Eventually, they're forced to work together for survival, with a whole lot of Teeth-Clenched Teamwork on B's side. But after a while, they start to understand each other- because despite being raised in different environments and cultures, they are actually pretty similar. Both are trapped in a solitary existence of their own making, both have lost loved ones, and a lot of people depend on them. They start to open up and accept themselves for who they are, and the prejudices they had from their upbringing no longer applies. They understand each other way more than anyone else, and because of weird temporal magic stuff, can even experience the other's memories.
There's a lot of moments also where the subtext is waaaay strong- from when A saves B's life like five times. Or when B talks to A about how he's not useless and that B actually needs him. Also the dialogue. I swear that the way they talk to each other sometimes is way too romantic that I wonder if this is on purpose. B even has a love interest, and though I like her, none of the moments she has with him is near as touching as B has with A. By the end, both become better, happier people; A becomes braver, B becomes more caring- all because they met. AND THEY TELL THIS TO EACH OTHER.
TL;DR: Cliche enemies turned BFF's/soulmates (they basically are, idgaf) is the best ever. I have too many feelings for them and would just love it if they made out once, or twice, or all the time. Also sex. I want lots of it. D:
