Hey, hey, hey now, Bow could also bring Present TOGETHER for a little while. Bow and Present are an interesting couple because their courtship is so brief and exciting! So what if Present's completely fallen apart at the end of it? It was good while it lasted.

But I don't think it would ever REALLY progress past friendship because Bow is canonically so flaky, like you said.

Also, I really don't think Bow will ever leave Ribbon. They're always completely hanging on each other. Someone needs to tell them to get a room ;)

Totally agreed on Bow and Ribbon, at least. I'm actually a little tired of seeing them everywhere; I mean, I know Bow totally has Ribbon wrapped all around it, and the bondage thing was super hot for a while, but it's kinda old hat now, y'know?

My first thought was that Harley's Joker cosplayer from SDCC that tumblr loves, because I know he has a girlfriend and I think I actually remember seeing something about how no one was respecting her/their privacy. This is probably not what you want to hear, but you might want to try to leave that fandom, if it's making you feel like this.

You know, intellectually, that there is no reason to resent your boyfriend for this, but emotions don't often work like that, and do you want to chance this festering inside you?

In any case, this is a very shitty position to be in. *hugs* I hope you come out of this happy and so does your boyfriend.

Incidentally, this is a good secret design! This was the first secret in the batch to catch my eye. It's simple, to the point, easy to read, centered to grab your attention, a good font and size of font, a simple design that grabs your attention but doesn't compete with the background picture.

It's probably for the best in the long run considering how some people in fandom can get towards popular people and their SO. Maybe talk to your boyfriend about it? I know sometimes when I have stupid thoughts about things I know that shouldn't bother me, but do having a good talk about it brings things into perspective. :)

Honestly OP, I'm with the anon who suggested leaving that fandom, even if it's only for a little while. It also couldn't hurt to mention to your boyfriend how you're feeling, since it might help you feel a little better.

My suggestion? Try not to see yourself as his girlfriend, but as just another person in the fandom. Maybe your thinking stems from you two being "a unit" IRL, but not in the fandom?
Or take a break from the fandom for a while to see if it's really that important to you to be as fandom-famous as him. You might be surprised to see that there are other things you're good at.
