swing_set13 seems to be the popular go-to for AU fic. They have tons of oneshots, and wips gdi. I'm still crossing my fingers for the Forest Ranger Stiles au to be updated next (they take requests iirc)

Knowing What You Want is a ridiculous Sterek oneshot where the mechanic from Season 2 is ALIIIIVE, and exists solely to make Derek jello in the beginning. I get the feeling the author probably doesn't like Erica much though, so she's kind of a bit nasty or extra aggressive here (it's only a bit part though). Also, porn end iirc.

Lonely Little Love Dog is a Scott and Stiles genderswap! Of the "magical flowers/wizards did it" variety. And it's fluffy porn! First chapter is established Stiles/Derek, and the recent second chapter is Scott/Allison. So you have genswap het and genswap femmeslash in one beautiful package woohoo ♥

Your Own Personal Jarvis is an AU where the Stilinskis have been butlers for the Hales for ages. It's weird and cartoonish. And also a WIP, so watch out for that in case you don't like reading wips, yo.

Shattered Into Pieces is a post ep2x03 fic. Super gen and all about them angsty hurt feeling. I liked it because it was bittersweet and how everyone gets a POV. I suppose you can say it's got overtones of Derek/Stiles preslash toward the end too. But you can still pretend it's gen if you're sick of Sterek by now haha ♥

starbeast one. I like to joke around and say, "AW YEAH HARRIS/FINSTOCK." But it's actually just Mr. Harris being a bag of dicks and making fun of Coach Finstock. I try to link to it as often as possible.

Also, The Genderswap Files. Yes, I think the first chapter implies some variation of Derek/Stiles in the background iirc, but it's not actually present. Each chapter is actually a oneshot with a different genswapped character in each one (including a Dani one), and there's tons of focus on friendships here. I wouldn't say it's a great fic, but it was fun :)

Man, I want to say you might like, Go Big Or Go Home, but it's still basically overshadowed by the fact that it's a Sterek fic. Yes, it's all snarky, exasperated, adorable Danny POV, but why why why can't I just have one fic where the focus isn't always Derek/Stiles, world! /entitlementwhoops
~~(just jokes, I still like it. as much as I love Sterek, sometimes I find myself reading fic for the side characters involved)~~

I really do recommend poring over swing_set13's stuff up above though. Their work can be a bit hit or miss, but they do have several gen pieces focusing on other characters (as well as other pairings too iirc).

i don't ship stiles/derek either, so it can be a real bummer to find fic sometimes.

this (http://archiveofourown.org/works/471757) is a really cute gen au where the argents aren't hunters and there is basically no angst ever. i loved it a lot!
