Somehow I doubt you're even Italian and are just the usual anti-Hetalia poster.

If not... is it really just ~Hetalia~ that shows offensive, poorly researched stereotypes of Italy? These characters are seen as basically humans within the fandom, and while historical accuracy is always nice, it's still a requirement to follow the canon of the comic. There's a million ways to interpret a country.

This! There are other [web] comics out there that are just bad, if not worse, as far as being poorly researched, in fact I know of one [whose name I won't mention] that the author literally just takes stereotypes from the media and that's the extent of their research. That's it. To me that's even more offensive that what Hetalia does...Though I can see, and understand, why someone would be offended by it [which is their right, and is totally cool.]

Scandinavia and the World?

I wouldn't say Hetalia's poorly researched. There's quite a lot of exploration of historical and current events. Himaruya knows quite a lot about European history.
