If it had been advertised for what it was, it could have been intriguing, if a bit annoying in the "you can't be happy being a stripper" moral. It's about a guy taking pity on an lazy, entitled kid and both of them getting screwed over in the process. Basically a "don't trust the kid who lies about knowing construction and steals two sodas on his first day" moral. It's really just that it was marketed to a very select group of people looking for a very specific type of good time. No one thought it was going to be a good movie going in but it had a bunch of hot guys in little to no clothing. That's really why it seems to be such a bad movie.
