It's FANTASTIC. 9 volumes (maybe 10) are out in English through Viz, and their translation is excellent.

It's a suspense/character drama/detective story about... well, this brilliant neurosurgeon, Dr. Tenma, is suspected of a string of murders he didn't commit, but there's so much more to it than that. Also, the setting is neat: Germany (primarily Dusseldorf and Koln so far) both before and after the fall of the Berlin wall.

Ghaaaaaah, it's so good. I just picked up vol. 7. Dr Tenma barely shows up at all, but it remains as compelling as ever.

Urasawa's a brilliant manga artist, too - one of the few in the industry who understands that OMG, facial structures vary from person to person!

OK, I'll stop fangirling now.
