I wonder if I'm mis-reading this secret, because it's not saying OP thinks Coulson would be dead in the next movie, they're saying the fall-out if he were would be funny.

and maybe i'm misreading the thread, but what i'm getting from the replies is that most believe there would be no fall-out because fandom will work around any sort of "confirmation" of his death.

Idk, before this comments everything was leaning towards "he won't be dead/confirmed dead because' and not 'fandom prolly won't care'. The comments after this one do lean towards the latter though. So I can see where it looked like there was some misreading going on.

They're pointing out that no matter how much confirmation that's gotten, it won't be enough because people are very aware how often people come back from the dead.
