Inspired by this thread from two days ago, which introduced me to a lot of awesome music.

Is there anything you like that you discovered because of a secret (or a comment on a secret) that made it look interesting? I got into the Hetalia fandom because the wank here made me curious, so I started reading the manga.

probably others I can't remember right now

Can't remember a lot of them specifically off the top of my head... some music, some shows, some books... the only one I remember for sure is the A Song of Ice and Fire (aka Game of Thrones) books. Someone had a secret about the books about a year before they announced that a show was going to be made, and I always thought the timing was kind of awesome, since I had JUST gotten into the series, lol.

recently, Teen Wolf, and prior to that Game of Thrones. The good geeks here also helped me figure out what to read in the DCU :D

I think I might have started reading Hetalia because of the wank here too, but it was a long time ago and I don't remember anymore lol

I'm probably going to miss a lot of things, since I've tried lots of stuff thanks to F!S, but I tend to only remember the things I either really loved or hated so:

-Hetalia (I really only look at the kink meme once a week or so anymore, but at first Hetalia was pretty much my favourite thing ever.)
-Madoka (Seeing all the secrets made me want to check it out.)
-Tiger and Bunny (I liked the anime, but I really wish it had a fanbase with more of a tendency toward writing long, plotty fics, since that's what I like)
-Supernatural (I stopped watching a season or so ago, but I liked it okay for awhile)

And for things I tried thanks to F!S but didn't like:
-Sherlock
-Merlin

-Hetalia
-Homestuck
- Sherlock [Kinda meh, but I still tried it]
-Giving Pratchett's books another shot [Still kinda meh on the ones that aren't Death-centered but eh]
-Tobuscus' Let's plays/Literal trailers

...And I think that's about it for now.

Pumpkin Scissors. But I curse the person that did it since the Anime is only the first 5 books and the Manga isn't translated past the those books. I actually ended up signing up with a scanlator just to speed up the translating.

Doctor Who, back with the deluge of secrets about Tennant leaving. People were so heartbroken, it made me curious enough to finally start watching. It was a good decision. <3
