I'm 22 and I feel like I'm being left behind

I don't like tumblr :(

I hate to say this, anon but that's on you, not fandom.

I'm 31 and I'm doing just fine over there.

27 and more active in fandom than I've ever been before. Fandoms I even thought were dead or dying are alive and well over there, and it's gads of fun. It's so much easier to share stuff immediately (I HATE having to upload it to some alternative site, try to find the direct link, do all the hand-coding, then post and wait hours before people bother to comment), so for me, tumblr is a godsend to my fandoms.

I get that feeling. I feel like such an old fart because I just don't get the appeal of tumblr, but that's where the action is. Definitely feels like we're being left behind in the dust of new fandom format.

Heeee. I don't understand how to use it either. I don't feel left behind because my flist is still intact and I'm having plenty of fun reading on AO3, but I don't get how to use Tumblr. Somebody linked to a post, and I couldn't figure out who was commenting to who; the comments were all a jumble. IDK. I'm glad other people are liking it, but it's not for me.
