Shampoo & Conditioner
I have long thick hair (long = middle of my back) and it's sort of oily (not super oily, but not dry or normal). Any help would be really great.
This is the first time my hair's been this long. I've always had medium to short hair or dreadlocks before now, so I'm totally clueless.

I've tried some expensive salon brands (Redken was my favorite before) but honestly, I like the Suave ones better. Plus they're easy find at pretty much any drugstore/Walmart/Target and they're only a few dollars for a giant bottle.
There's also a new Suave line called Keratin Infusion that's really nice too.

I also really like this, it makes my hair really soft.

(Anonymous) 2012-08-05 03:51 am (UTC)(link)For what it's worth, shampoos with chili have helped me the most when I went through "kinda oily" periods.

(Anonymous) 2012-08-05 05:43 am (UTC)(link)I'm guessing that it does depend on the brand, and how well the makers know how and what to mix.
I also think it does depend on how sensitive your scalp is in general or at the time you use it. I've never had any bad reactions, despite having periods when my skin is crazy sensitive (like, my own bodily hair driving me crazy and making me itch kind of sensitive), but thinking on it I can't guarantee that everyone will be okay with it.
