The Amazing Spiderman, because I don't think the new Peter is nerdy enough to be the outcast that makes half of Spiderman's significance. I mean, if Peter was popular and had lots of good friends he wouldn't have the teenage confusion and loneliness that makes his character so endearing. Spiderman is the nerdy comic guys' personal dream, y'know?

I was upset with their casting of the last movie trilogy for this reason. I wanted DJ Qualls.

I skipped it because there was a Spiderman film... what, 8 years ago? I wasn't even crazy about the first one.

I feel like this is maybe a bad reason because there's nothing saying I won't love this version.

I didn't think the last live-action Peter was nerdy enough, either. I mean, he was a dork, sure, but he wasn't the science geek who invented his own webshooters and was smarter than everyone else in the room at any given time.

But, I agree this guy seems even worse.
