I avoided Spartacus because the main actor died between season 1 and 3. Don't ask me why but for some reason I can't watch it. Seriously, it's ridiuclous. I'Ve watched a lot of movies with dead actors but for some reason this one I can't.

Maybe one day I'll get over that weird feeling and actually watch the Show o.O

Oh God, his death left a huge hole in the series imo. The new actor is good, but he doesn't have that same phenomenal charisma Andy had.

I dunno I just think the whole actor died during filming would've made me really sad the further I got into the show.

Same reason I avoid Torchwood. I love reading fic about it but I can't bring myself to watch it because I know Ianto will die. I'm weird that way.
