I'm sort of the same way. I'm twenty four now (Almost twenty five) and lost my job due to not being payed enough money to pay rent (I was living in a motel/homeless at the time, and they cut my paycheck down from 500 to barely 300 every two weeks...) I love art, but I know it's sort of a pointles degree to get. (I'm reminded of Bill Mahr's rant on it-that it won' get me a job anywhere, lol)

That really fucking sucks. I've done the hotel living thing in my childhood, it is not fun so I completely feel you there. Art is probably the only thing I've ever be interested in getting a degree for, but I'm like you, I need to do something to get me money, not something to throw money and and get a huge debt and a part time job.

Oh, I did, too. @_@ (motel child living) My father was a gamblaholic, and never wanted to pay for an apartment. I've lived in motels from Foxboro, to Attleboro, to Plainsville. Not the best thing to fall back on....lol
