It's just round #326 of the same damn thing. Man, it's rare enough my fandom gets a secret, but when it does... it's always one of the same three: Cumberbatch is ugly, Won't someone think of the Asexuals, and BB-Sherlock fans are being mean to other Sherlock Holmes fans. Over and over and over again. Is that really all my fandom has going for it? Are there really no other secrets that can be made?

tbh I find most of the secrets about big fandoms to be similar unless it's wanky (but then again I'm not in any popular fandoms atm so my judgement could be off)

+1 We have some interesting shit going on in the BBC Sherlock fandom, you'd think people would be able to be a bit more creative with their secrets.

It should be turned into a drinking game. Of course, since there's maybe one secret a week, the game should go "If you see one of these secrets, get completely sloshed."

I do remember a few others. There have been a few involving Mycroft (one today), and a couple about preferring John to Sherlock (I guess that's something you can't admit in polite society?) and I remember one about John and Sherlock as an example of finding the love of your life when you're over 30.

The thing is, most of the Sherlock secrets that people post are things you can legitimately admit to in the fandom. I know I sent in one a few weeks back with a legit controversial opinion, but most people do all the same secrets.

There was a nice Anthea one like two weeks ago, but other than that they're usually all the same.

I admit that I prefer John to Sherlock with practically every fic I write. LOL.

Maybe there are more, but they are just terribly unmemorable. And I really should be grateful that this isn't ugly Cumberbatch, because that one makes the rounds about three times more often then all the rest.
