Re: Cumberbatch, I don't know why I'm surprised that he equates asexuality with, say, the choice to be redheaded or not on the day. Mind you, in the much lauded interview where he mentioned fanworks I swear he started to say 'that's disgusting' before he realised what a backlash that would cause and went all nicey nicey. Prat. I'd say he's been in Hollywood too long, but if he was saying things like that back in S1, well.

My two cents: it seems to be a matter of interpretation. What one person sees as asexuality another sees as celibate by choice and another sees as gay. My take: whatever he is, he isn't a Kinsey 0.
