When I was a kid I was convinced that every character who was on the opposite side from my crushes was a complete and utter idiot. This mostly applied to Ash from Pokémon and Jackie from Jackie Chan Adventures. To be fair, Ash was a bit of an idiot, but poor Jackie did not deserve that. :(
